With a timing belt replacement and a brand new clutch (among other things) this MR2 is ready to have a new American life. MR2's are hard to come by, even in Japan, and this was too good to pass up.

Update: February 10th -- She's Sold!
She's officially sold! After living in Japan for 25 years it's crazy to think her new owner is in Georgia. It's been a great experience bringing this car over and getting to drive her around town, but we have no doubt her new owner will treat her right. Thank you for building such a great car Toyota.
Update: December 19th -- She has an American title!
Guess who has her clean American title? That's right! Our very own slice of Toyota Japanese goodness. Our G-Limited MR2 is now recognized as a completely legal vehicle in the state of North Carolina! The process was actually smoother than expected (thank you NC DMV), and we're glad to be able to drive her around real roads to make sure everything's smooth. The new owner will definitely have one special car.
Update: November 10th -- She's Here!
Since we've been through this process once before, we were able to cut out a lot of unneeded waiting this time around.
Arriving sooner than expected, and in full running condition, our MR2 is in the process of being thoroughly examined by National Speed to make sure there's nothing that needs fixing. While the exterior is also going to be worked on over the next couple of weeks, we're glad to here her start up.
We'll continue to update the process of both our 300 and MR2, so stay tuned for more Japanese goodness!
