A hot, sunny, unforgiving day.
A perfect day for rallycross at MCAS New River!

     Unlike our traditional coverage method, we resulted to a slideshow style because of technical diffulcties. It's also nice to be able to scan through them all simply and easily, so you can find ones you like!

     The sun was bright, there weren't enough seats, shade didn't exist, and Subaru had technical difficulties continuously. Needless to say it was a rough day for anyone that wasn't a Ford fan (especially Volkswagen since both their cars were beyond repair before the heats even started).

     With this being the first ever rallycross event on a military base (especially an active one), it was new ground for Redbull. Regardless, the event was a success, and the heat didn't stop the fans from getting pumped up.

     Among the tough transition to a new chassis, Subaru's blue rallycross STi had to have an entire engine swap. Hoods wouldn't stay on, engines wouldn't run, and both Sverre and Bucky didn't seem to be comfortable in their new Subarus. It was a hard day for everyone sporting the shining start, but even though Subaru didn't place on the podium, the fans seemed to leave happy.
