We've even imported an R! And guess what? She was great. Also, the auctions are really complicated, trust us. That's why we have an agent handle it for us. "Lets face it, we’re talking about old cars. You’ll never be looking at a car with an Auction Grade of S, 6, 5, or even 4 (for the most part), because cars like that are rarely 25 years old, and if they are they're expensive (stupid expensive). It's a little alarming to see ratings that aren't excellent, but 3, 3.5, and 4 are all good auction grades when dealing with older cars."
"The Japanese auctions aren’t like Ebay. You tell your auction agent what the most you’re willing to pay is, and then your agent makes a note of it. Your agent knows the minute that bid is coming, and when the time comes he/she will do their best to get the lowest price possible, or lose the bid completely if it gets too high."
