Elias Hellstrom's 2005 Subaru STi

After all the photos I've taken of other people's cars, I've never taken really good ones of my own car until now.
​I'm the man behind the lens, the posts, and the imported cars. And this is my car.

     STi's are commonly bought because of their sports car feel (and power), but their sedan body and functionality usually sets them aside for a particular kind of driver. Some drivers like the AWD/turbo combination, but other drivers need a car with a little more room. I'm a combination. I've always loved the rally look, rally feel, and the overall style STi's and Subaru has a whole.

     This is my first car, and it was actually bought for me before I had my license. A lot of people judged my mom (even family members, of course), but I think she knew what this would turn into. Year after year I've made sure this beautiful car stays happy. At this point I feel like it will always be a part of my identity.

     It's supposed to be driven hard every now and then, but it's still a Subaru. I'm going to watch my car last until it gets 200,000 miles, and then I'm going to replace the engine and watch it last 200 more. God forbid anything catastrophic happens to it, this car will always be my daily driver.
